BelKraft 2000 Undercounter

 

It’s easy to install with simple instructions. Certified by the National Sanitation Foundation, the BelKraft 2000 enhances the quality of your home’s drinking water. The easy to replace silver impregnated solid carbon 4 or 6 stage ceramic filter removes particles as small as 0.3 microns plus eliminates the lead in the water you and your family use on a daily basis. The surgical steel housing has a lifetime conditional warranty.

This is a complete system designed for Do It Yourself (DIY) under counter installation.

The BelKraft 2000 is an in-line water filter pressure system manufactured from Surgical Steel. A washable Full Spectrum Doulton ceramic is used.

The cartridge lasts about one year.

This system’s performance may also be expanded at any time by simply “plugging” in additional housings to address higher levels of lead, arsenic, fluoride, uranium, etc.

When the water flow slows down it’s telling you its time to wash the cartridge.

If you do not get a good flow after cleaning the cartridge, it may be expired.

Super easy to install. Simply remove flex-hose at cold water pipe and connect the T-split. Then just screw on the hose to the end of the faucet and your done.

Description

This unit houses a custom designed cartridge made by Doulton of England which is by far the best on the market. The second housing has a cartridge for Fluoride reduction.

First a washable sub-micron Porcelain Ceramic pre-filter prevents clogging of the cartridge and thereby extends its effective life.The ceramic pre filter also acts as an automatic shut off valve by slowing water flow to indicate that the ceramic needs cleaning without risking contamination of the cartridge or drinking water.

Impregnation of the ceramic element with silver renders its surface bacteriostatic – that is, bacteria cannot grow on the surface. This ensures that you can change or clean the cartridge with no fear of contamination. In contrast to the silver which is used in activated carbon filters, the silver in the ceramic element is in a form which will not leach out, so its effectiveness exceeds the life of the element. Free silver ions (Ag+) have a toxic effect on micro-organisms even in relatively low concentrations. They have a highly fungicidal, bactericidal and algaecidel effect, therefore removing all harmful bacteria, parasites and viruses including Gardia Lambia Cysts, Cryptosporidium, E Coli, Fecal Coliforms, Hepatitus B and Salmonella.

Stage three removes all heavy metals including lead, mercury, aluminum, iron, copper, zinc, magnesium and silver.

Stage four is a solid carbon block, which is so compressed that it is the equivalent of over 300,000 square yards of filtering media.

 

Standard T-splitter

This makes installations a breeze. Simply unscrew the flex hose to your faucet, attach the splitter, reconnect your faucet hose and attach the filter flex hose.

There are many different ways to connect your under counter to the cold water line, but if there is no place to attach a connector because the pipe runs straight up to the faucet, then we can send you the ‘Self Piercing Saddle Valve’ which can connect to a half inch or quarter inch pipe.

On the left shows how easy it is to wash the ceramic surface. On the right is a cartridge I recently replaced for a client. The surface was completely black, but when I scratched it with my nail it was the same white colour as a new cartridge. Nice to see what you didn’t have to drink.
