The ceramics are designed to remove suspended solids and pathogenic bacteria. The ceramic elements may be used in either gravity or pressure filter housing.

Down to 0. 9 micron, 100%; 0.5 – 0.8 micron with a filter efficiency of >99.99% (based on tests by Spectrum Laboratories, Minneapolis, MN)

Standard filter elements require sterilization after cleaning. To do this, place the candle in a container of water and boil for 20 minutes. Allow the candle to cool before replacing it in the filter housing.
